Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings from audio recordings.
• Produce verbatim transcripts while strictly following established style guides.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high accuracy standards.
• Collaborate remotely with our in-office team for support when necessary.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping.
• Exceptional listening and literacy skills, including a strong command of spelling and grammar.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to client-specific style guidelines.
• Proficient typing skills in both speed and accuracy.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
• Capability to process complex audio/text content that may contain sensitive material.
  
  

Qualifications

• Significant experience in legal transcription or a related field is mandatory.
• Background check clearance is required.
• Candidates with a strong understanding of legal processes and terminology will be prioritized.
• Court reporting students may also be considered for this role.
