We are seeking a seasoned and committed leader to assume the position of Vice President (VP) of New York Operations. In this influential role, you will serve as an integral part of our executive leadership team, driving our mission and values while managing a diverse array of behavioral health services throughout New York State, including Outpatient, In-Home Therapy, Building Bridges, and additional programs assigned to the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the provision of high-quality services, maintaining compliance with regulations and achieving exemplary outcomes across various behavioral health programs.
- Spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive behavioral health system that encompasses the entire continuum of care.
- Oversee operational and financial performance, including program delivery, staff management, and quality assessments.
- Act as the principal liaison between Executive/Senior Vice Presidents and state-level leadership, promoting collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Guarantee that programs meet all regulatory requirements, including OMH regulations (Article 31 and CFTSS).
- Engage proactively in developing new programs, cultivating robust networks, and supporting grant and contract initiatives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support for the recruitment, training, and management of program staff.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Willingness to travel throughout New York State as needed; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous, though not required.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field.
- Independent clinical licensure (LCSW or LMHC) with diagnostic privileges in New York State.
- At least seven years of experience in managing behavioral health operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of administration and operations, including financial management, strategic planning, quality enhancement, and human resources.
- Strong familiarity with New York's behavioral health landscape, community needs, and service offerings.
- Experience with OMH regulations (Article 31, CFTSS) is highly preferred.
- Background in child welfare and experience in launching new programs is also highly preferred.
