As our Basketball Communications Game Night Assistant role will support the Trail Blazers Basketball Communications department, working in a fast-paced environment at all home games. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: preparing materials for the media, working the media check-in desk, recording and transcribing post-game quotes and other projects as assigned.

Day-to-day

• Providing media and visiting teams with statistical and press content.
• Setting up the media workroom and media seating areas.
• Working the media entrance/check-in desk.
• Recording and transcribing home and visiting player and/or coach quotes for distribution to the working media.
• Distributing box scores and notes to media in-game.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

We’d Like To Hear From You If You

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Customer service oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage specific game night processes and tasks under supervision.
• Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel).
• Curiosity about basketball and knowledge of basketball statistics.
• Available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
