Job Title: Production Operator II (Temporary, Second Shift)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator II to join our dynamic team. This role, structured around a 4⁄10 work schedule from Monday to Thursday during the second shift, is ideal for individuals looking to leverage their skills in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols and company policies. The position involves a variety of mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations, performed under moderate supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute diverse mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks in alignment with company procedures and instructions.
• Conduct thorough inspections of personal and team output to ensure quality meets company and customer specifications.
• Compile production time and quantity data while adhering to established process specifications.
• Maintain a tidy and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Perform basic welding tasks and operate light machinery, such as sand blasters and electro-etching presses, as required.
• Uphold all safety protocols and procedures diligently.
• Complete additional duties as assigned and ensure consistent attendance, including potential night and weekend shifts as necessary.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations.
• Competence in operating various hand tools and machinery effectively.
• Ability to interpret and apply safety rules, operational guidelines, and policies.
• Strong manual dexterity for handling small components.
• Capable of identifying and resolving typical work-related challenges; evaluates solutions from established options.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in assembly roles is preferred.
• A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is desirable.
• Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field is a plus.
