We are a public holding company with a small but growing portfolio of operating companies, including, but not limited to an aesthetics division, a life sciences research and development-focused subsidiary. Our leadership specializes in finance and M&A, and we are seeking a detail-oriented professional to develop new and provide checks and balances, ensuring smooth operational execution and maintaining high standards.
Position Summary
We are looking for a driven and meticulous Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations of our portfolio companies: create and enforce internal controls, and support our financial and M&A leadership team. This role is crucial to maintaining accountability, optimizing processes, and contributing to our company’s success. You will work closely with the Chairman and CEO, enforcing and promoting a strict perfomace base culture, operational perspective and ensuring consistent performance across our portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and oversee operational processes across our divisions.
Ensure financial and operational controls are in place, identifying discrepancies and enforcing corrective actions.
Monitor and report on the performance of the operating companies, providing oversight and actionable insights.
Develop and refine process documentation for internal operations.
Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with leadership to provide updates, identify risks, and suggest improvements.
Analyze operational data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in operations, business control, or a similar role within a corporate environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Proven experience in implementing and maintaining operational and financial controls.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.
Experience in the manufacturing, B2B business and logistics ideal.
