The Role:
As a Regional Account Manager, you will have a vital sales role on the National Rental team, increasing product awareness regionally, and influencing account growth nationally. You will report to the Director of National Rental Accounts and work closely with the team’s National Account Managers to grow our business with national equipment rental companies.

The Role:
As a Regional Account Manager, you will have a vital sales role on the National Rental team, increasing product awareness regionally, and influencing account growth nationally. You will report to the Director of National Rental Accounts and work closely with the team’s National Account Managers to grow our business with national equipment rental companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business by regularly traveling and prospecting throughout your territory. This includes visiting rental branches, performing “ride-alongs” and job site visits with customers.
- Tow Western Global products throughout your territory to perform demonstrations with customers, prospects, and end-users.
- Present Western Global products and our value proposition to managers and sales representatives at local and regional meetings.
- Identify trends and opportunities to grow our business.
- Maintain a high-level of face-to-face visits, phone calls, email, and quoting activities.
- Efficiently plan and execute weekly trips within your territory.
- Effectively utilize CRM system to identify, quote and follow up with prospects.
- Collaborate with the Director of National Rental Accounts and National Account Managers to develop and adapt strategies that align with overall account goals.
- Attend trade shows and conducting customer training.
- Communicate with the Director and team on the outcomes of your visits, calls, follow-up’s, sales won, and pipeline activities.
- Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and sensitivity and always portray Western Global in a positive manner.
- Manage time effectively to maximize business development activities.
- Identify customer satisfaction issues, reporting and addressing as appropriate.
- Effectively communicate customer expectations to all necessary departments.
- Maintain a demeanor that is consistent with Western Global’s core values.
- Confident self-starter who wants to collaborate on a high-performing team.
- Eagerness to consistently prospect, cold call and network to strengthen our reputation and team.
- Demonstrated success in customer interfacing roles.
- Comfortable towing equipment and/or trailers long distances.
- Experience in construction and/or equipment rental is ideal, but not required.
- Passion to always deliver a quality product and outstanding customer service.
- The desire to win, grow sales and play a key role in the continued success of our team.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High level of self-motivation, independence, and desire to work as a team.
