As part of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing control systems that enhance manufacturing operations across various industries. Compensation: Up to $81,000 annually

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and drives to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the construction and assembly of control panels ensuring specifications and safety standards are met.
• Act as the primary project manager for multiple projects, ensuring all project milestones are achieved within predetermined timelines.
• Lead the commissioning of control systems at client sites, ensuring system functionality and performance meet client needs.
• Maintain meticulous control over project costs and timelines, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Create detailed electrical schematics and documentation for each project.
• Provide exceptional customer service through regular interactions, addressing any issues and making adjustments as required.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders across various levels, communicating project status and impact.
• Participate in budgeting sessions and contribute to the financial planning for projects.
• Engage in the latest technology trends including robotic programming and factory automation to enhance system capabilities.
• Travel domestically for four to six weeks annually to oversee project implementation and meet with clients.
  
  

Minimum Position Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering is required.
• At least two years of controls engineering experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin PLCs.
• Proven experience with HMI programming and integration.
• Minimum of two years experience in web handling processes.
• Ability to commit to up to six weeks of domestic travel annually as required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold a valid U.S. Green Card.
• Residence within 45 minutes of the Appleton area, or willingness to relocate.
• A solid work history demonstrating reliability and commitment to previous roles.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Motion Control, WonderWare, IFix, SCADA, and AutoCAD.
• Experience in a leadership role within a project management capacity in manufacturing or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
