Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with OGI engineers in consulting with customers, architects, and internal teams to develop efficient metal bar grating solutions.
- Assist in estimating costs and preparing detailed quotations for customized grating products and accessories.
- Contribute to the development, testing, and promotion of innovative grating products.
- Support the management of major sales order projects, from initial quotation through to final delivery.
- Participate in the technical evaluation of new product concepts, offering alternative solutions and resolving design and manufacturing challenges.
- Aid in the development of specifications, technical drawings, and prototypes based on provided criteria.
- Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and conducting root cause analyses to enhance production processes.
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and innovation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
