For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $118,000 - $197,600 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 15%.

Job Description
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, regional leaders, engineering, manufacturing, and product management to identify growth areas and define the product strategy.
- Deliver on steam turbine financial results & operating plans (sales, profitability, market share)
- Define, own and direct development budgets delivering on product launches to improve competitiveness.
- Drive product standardization and simplification opportunities and support cross-business initiatives.
- Understand competitor’s product portfolio and offerings, including value proposition, differentiation, performance and cost, and benchmark against GE offerings.
- Understand current and future market needs, by working with cross-functional teams.
- Propose product improvements (cost, performance, constructability, delivery cycle, quality/reliability) to increase the value proposition and develop and own business cases when investment is needed.
- Drive product commercialization, deployment, training, launch and promotion in liaison with marketing, sales, and regional teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, business or equivalent from an accredited college or university or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Significant experience in product management, engineering, commercial operations, or project management in the power industry.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Expertise in combined cycle power plants.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and execution experience with international cross functional teams, able to interface effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Domain expertise in steam turbines with a strong knowledge base in engineering design, services, and associated markets.
- Experience with business development and strong customer service mindset.
- Knowledge of power plant economics and power industry market dynamics across gas, coal, and nuclear applications

- The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
