Handi Products is an extension of Handi Ramp who was founded in 1958 and is the oldest manufacturer of aluminum and steel ramps in the United States. We help people live a better life through products within the wheelchair accessibility, material handling, and slip and fall prevention arenas. Our national sales team works closely with customers to create custom solutions for a variety of industrial, commercial, institutional and residential requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Daily assembly of a variety of retail products for orders and stock
  • Assist with picking and packing of daily orders
  • Learn requirements of shipments to various retailers as well as direct to customer
  • Assist with creating shipping labels for orders to customers
  • Assist with monitoring stock levels
  • Stock shelves from shipments and assembly for picking and packing
  • Assist with all inventory counts, monthly and cycle counts
  • General cleaning and inventory counting, as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned, such as helping the production department clean retail items for shipping

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 years’ experience in similar field preferred
  • Ability to work independently, including making decisions affecting company resources
  • Able to assist with tracking of supplies and raw materials
  • Experience with shipping and organizational software programs, a plus
  • Knowledge and experience using fork lift and overhead crane, a plus
  • Reliable, trustworthy and strong attendance record
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a team player and communicate well with others

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times and stand for long periods of time
