Who We Are
You’ve never met an organization quite like World Vision.
Welcome to World Vision, where passion meets purpose! As one of the largest faith-based nonprofits globally, we raise over $1B annually to combat poverty and injustice in nearly 100 countries. We tackle the root causes of poverty and injustice and are working in the places that are the most difficult for children, women and families to thrive. We're a dynamic team of marketing and tech pros who take our craft seriously—and our faith even more so.
Join us, and you'll bring your whole self to work—spiritually and professionally. You'll grow, you'll be challenged, and yes, you'll work hard – harder than you ever have in a for-profit career. But the reward? Transforming lives around the world with your unique gifts.
What is the Role?
Are you a servant-minded, operations-savvy, person with a passion for making work feel and be better for others? Do you thrive at the intersection of culture, process, projects & finance? If so, this might be your next big move. The role is designed to provide exposure to a broad array of topics, initiatives, and people so that more doors open to the place God is calling you.
Are you up for this challenge? If so, read on and apply below.
Responsibilities
Priority 1 (50-60% of job): Collaborate with VP/Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations to Optimize Their Focus
As a Business Operations Manager, you report to the Senior Director of Marketing Operations & Strategic Technology and serve on a highly motivated matrixed team of individuals focused on delivering great experiences to donors. You will be directly part of a small but mighty team that partners across the larger Marketing, Fundraising, Creative, and Operational teams. You get to be a true cross-divisional player, growing in your skills to influence others, manage work, and communicate change.
Requirements
Your compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The full salary range for this role is $71,300 - $110,500. The typical hiring range is $75,000 - $91,000. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. World Vision employees see our Salary Administration Guidelines and My Life My Benefits pages on our organization intranet known as The Vine. Please indicate the range you're targeting when asked during the application process. In addition, we have a robust and comprehensive benefits package to round out our total compensation package. Click here to learn more (this position is a grade 224). Additionally, merit, auto allowance, and relocation are available to eligible employees based on existing plans.
What happens next?
Glad you asked. We owe you that and strive to not leave you wondering. We review applications nearly every day assessing candidates’ strength of fit for the role. Sometimes questions arise on our end so we message you to learn more. Short-listed candidates are contacted for an initial conversation with our recruiting staff. Moving deeper into our selection process you can expect to interview 1:1 with a hiring manager. Finalists normally participate in a panel interview where the opportunity to meet additional members of our staff lends itself to more of a 360-degree view of the role. You may be asked to share an artifact or work out an exercise with our teams. Our most valuable resource is our talented staff.
