Marketing Coordinator

As the BODY20 Marketing Coordinator you’ll be responsible for finding/creating and attending community events and collaborating with local business partners to offer mutual incentives for each company’s members, employees or residents. This role involves creating and utilizing event content to boost BODY20 Sugar Land’s boots-on-the ground marketing strategy across various social media platforms. This position offers flexible work schedule and requires some evening and weekend events.

Attendance at our events is essential for effectively promoting our unique fitness services. We seek someone who can engage with people during events and then leverage that event content for social media posts and local business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains contacts and relationships with local business partners/ referral sources such as med spas, weight loss clinics, women’s health, apartment complexes, boutiques, local government, local businesses, etc.
• Find and/or Create Events
• Festivals, Apartment/HOA Resident Happy Hours, Lunch & Learns, Pop Up Shops, etc.
• Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms
• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Manage social media accounts and monitor online conversations
• Working as a team player to help grow the member base of the studio through sales, onboarding new members and superior customer service to keep long-term members.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly
• Passion for health and wellness
• Willing and able to work some nights, and occasional weekends and holiday
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sales, trade shows, events or retail with experience in lead generation a plus
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proven experience in marketing, particularly in social media strategy and campaign evaluation.
