Job Description Summary:
The Talent Development Specialist will be responsible for providing knowledge management, project management, and learning expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the knowledge management program, including developing and implementing knowledge management governance, procedures, and providing guidance and training to users in alignment and in conjunction with our Learning Management System.
Position can be fully remote, Hybrid or On-Site based in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.

Job Description Summary:

Job Description:

- Coordinate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, organize and produce knowledge content.
- Support the knowledge solution implementation by managing project timelines and tasks.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in knowledge content throughout the knowledge base and learning management platform.
- Coordinate the work of stakeholders and SMEs in creating, selecting, posting, and removing knowledge content for a functional area or department.
- Create best practices for knowledge base and learning management content creation for stakeholders and SMEs.
- Implement efficient search and retrieval mechanisms to access knowledge.
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Use reporting features to monitor the frequency of use, satisfaction levels, and SEO metrics such as keyword performance, page views, and user engagement for knowledge base and learning management solutions.
- Create user-friendly navigation and powerful search functionalities that ensure our teams find what they need quickly.
- Develop and maintain a consistent taxonomy and metadata schema that brings clarity and organization to our knowledge assets.
- Champion the knowledge base to teams throughout the organization.
- 5+ years of experience developing content designed for learning and employee role support.
- Experience writing new learning content and editing existing content, consistent with a style guide.
- Success in applying creative problem-solving, design thinking, disruptive innovation, and content design skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for continuous improvement.
- Experience applying change management to projects.
- Proven track record of using effective consultative skills and processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook) and a general comfort level working with technology systems.
- Experience using AI personally in work processes and evangelizing the use of AI to others.
- Experience using knowledge base content to support learning initiatives.
- Experience creating and managing knowledge management processes.
- Experience using a knowledge or content management system (KMS or CMS).
- Experience using a learning management system (LMS).
