Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Highly experienced, well respected law firm that concentrates its practice in family law seeks high integrity, people-oriented person to serve as paralegal/legal assistant. You will have varied duties including drafting, filing, investigation, client, attorney and court contact, and much more. This position also features some involvement in practical aspects of law practice including office technology, ethics, client relations, billing and small office operation. You will witness and participate in the daily drama which is pervasive in the family law world, and you will have opportunities to assist many people in some of life’s most painful and difficult challenges. To qualify, you will need great people skills, a great work ethic, bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 3.0 GPA (depending upon work experience), familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, and some technological know-how -- including a basic understanding of confidentiality and security.
