Job Summary

As the Director of Product for AI Enablement, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI/ML technologies and practical, impactful product applications within Studio Technology. Your primary responsibility will be to inspire and assist Product Owners and business partners across the studio in identifying and integrating AI opportunities into their product roadmaps. Additionally, you will provide strategic partnership to ML engineering resources educational initiatives designed to elevate the AI/ML proficiency of our Product Development teams.

Responsibilities


  • Visionary Leadership and Strategic Influence: Guide Product Owners in envisioning and articulating how AI and ML can be effectively integrated into their products, enhancing functionality and user engagement.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Facilitate the embedding of ML engineering experts into product teams to ensure the transfer of advanced AI/ML knowledge and the adoption of best practices in product development.
  • Resource Management and Allocation: Manage and allocate engineering resources efficiently to maximize impact across projects, ensuring that AI/ML integration efforts are aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Project Oversight and Product Management: Maintain oversight of projects from conception through execution, ensuring that AI initiatives are seamlessly integrated and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a key liaison between technology teams, product managers, and business units, fostering a collaborative environment that is conducive to innovation.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Regularly assess and report on the progress of AI integration initiatives, the effectiveness of educational programs, and the overall impact of AI on product development.


Skills/Experience


  • Proven Product Management Leadership: At least 12+ years of experience in product management with a significant focus on AI/ML technologies in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in AI/ML Integration: Deep understanding of current AI and ML technologies, best practices, and market trends, with a proven track record of successful integration into products.
  • Proven Leadership in Team Building and Growth: Demonstrated experience in building, leading, and scaling large teams from the ground up, with the ability to adapt team structures to align with evolving business needs and strategic goals. Skilled in change management to drive impactful, sustainable initiatives.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, capable of guiding product teams in envisioning future trends and applications of AI.
  • Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Adaptability and Vision: A visionary with the ability to adapt quickly to new technological advancements and industry trends.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in a technology leadership role within the entertainment, media, or software development industries.
  • Strong portfolio of projects where AI/ML integration has led to significant product enhancements.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $202,900–272,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
