A reputable and dynamic civil construction company is seeking a Project Engineer to play a vital role in managing projects, overseeing project documentation, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors. Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 / year DOE

Project Engineer Responsibilities

• Oversee project paperwork, including submittals and contracts, for a variety of projects
• Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Create work plans for crews and coordinate order logistics to ensure timely project execution
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to project goals
• Conduct weekly site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on-site
• Support the Construction Manager in managing day-to-day project operations and reporting
• Assist in the development of budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle
  
  

Project Engineer Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, with a focus on heavy civil projects (structures, bridges, retaining walls) preferred
• Proficiency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPS) and Microsoft Word
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage diverse personalities on the job site
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with project management software, specifically Primavera P6, is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
