Position Overview

Are you a strategic, innovative, and detail-driven designer who thrives in the fast-paced world of direct-to-consumer digital marketing? Do you have a passion for turning marketing objectives into visually compelling campaigns? If so, HomeServe wants you to join our creative department as a Digital Art Director. You will lead our team in creating high-impact digital marketing assets, including email campaigns, paid digital ads, social media content, landing pages, and video projects, while overseeing occasional offline print needs. Reporting directly to the Director of Design, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier creative work and driving successful acquisition campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to translate marketing objectives into visually compelling digital assets that drive immediate consumer actions (clicks, sign-ups, purchases).
  • Creative & Strategic Thinking: Strong conceptual thinker, capable of developing innovative ideas that align with marketing goals.
  • Mastery in designing creatives with attention to typography, color, and layout to create visually impactful and high-converting direct response ads.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines, ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to proof and edit design work to maintain high accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Adaptability:
  • Flexibility to respond to rapidly changing requirements or feedback while maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of design concepts.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media or equivalent practical experience in design and digital marketing is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in digital design within a direct response marketing environment, producing direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns.
  • A deep understanding of direct-to-consumer marketing strategies and how to create digital assets optimized for conversions (e.g., strong calls to action, landing page layouts).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing, performance analytics, and the ability to iterate creatively based on data-driven insights.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles to optimize design for both mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Proven experience developing and executing creative assets that drive consumer action, such as paid acquisition ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and other performance-driven media.

Portfolio

  • A robust portfolio showcasing successful DTC and direct response campaigns across digital channels, such as social media, paid digital ads, email marketing, and landing page optimization.
  • Work that highlights conversion-oriented designs that drove measurable results.

Technical Proficiency

  • Expert-level proficiency with design tools like Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with content management systems and coding.

Salary Range: $87,524.25 - $116,699

Annual Bonus Potential: 10%
