Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your proficiency in estimating through platforms like Xactimate and XactAnalysis to drive effective claims management.
  • Execute comprehensive investigations following established claim handling protocols and industry best practices.
  • Make well-informed decisions regarding the denial, settlement, or authorization of payments for intricate property claims, taking into account coverage details, field reports, and substantiated damage assessments.
  • Collaborate with insureds, claimants, vendors, carriers, witnesses, public adjusters, and attorneys to gather critical information and proofs of loss through interviews, calls, and correspondence.
  • Accurately set reserves for claims and document recorded statements where necessary.
  • Scrutinize and evaluate complex property claims to ensure appropriate coverage and handling methodologies, ensuring conclusions are reached within statutory time frames.
  • Interpret policy language with precision and assess coverage issues across various policies and endorsements.
  • Diligently manage diaries, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and organize technical claim documentation and correspondence.
  • Compile and present comprehensive reports on investigation findings.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience with Xactimate and XactAnalysis for accurate estimating and collaboration.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, especially concerning policy interpretation.
  • Proven capability to independently manage complex property claims.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Proactive approach to claim handling with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in property claims management.
  • Valid Home State Adjusting License with reciprocal capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex claims with a high degree of professionalism.
