We are a fast-growing company that is committed to being the primary resource for technical consultation in our region and we are looking for a Systems & Network Administrator to join our team!
As a Systems Networking Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure, ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of their systems and networks. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our clients by delivering reliable and efficient IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and virtualization technologies.
System Monitoring: Monitor systems and networks for performance issues, security threats, and anomalies. Take proactive measures to address potential problems and ensure system stability.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to address system issues, resolve incidents, and minimize downtime. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure swift problem resolution.
Patch Management: Regularly apply patches, updates, and security fixes to operating systems and applications to mitigate vulnerabilities and enhance system security.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to protect data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
Capacity Planning: Monitor resource utilization and plan for capacity upgrades to meet clients' evolving IT needs. Recommend hardware and software upgrades as necessary.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their IT requirements, provide technical recommendations, and implement solutions that align with their business goals.
Vendor Management: Interact with technology vendors to procure hardware, software, and services, and manage vendor relationships to ensure efficient delivery of products and support.
Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, such as system migrations, upgrades, and deployments. Manage project timelines, tasks, and resources effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improving system performance, security, and efficiency.

- Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience troubleshooting, configuring, deploying, and administrating Microsoft workstations connect to a domain.
- Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices.
- Experience with monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, SCCM).
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment and deliver on commitments in a timely manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task optimization.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with technology trends.
