Summary: The teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. They develop and implement a curriculum that meets the academic, social, and emotional needs of each child. The teacher also works closely with parents and other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain open communication with parents and caregivers
Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions to further professional development
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, progress, and behavior
Ensure the health and safety of all students at all times
Qualifications
Previous experience working with young children
Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
