Job Description And Duties
Property Controller Operations: Establish and supervise the maintenance of all records on property received in the institution. Record and property mark all new property. Release property for stock to Support Warehouse Materials & Stores Supervisor I for storage. Release property upon request to authorized units and individuals, informing staff of their responsibility and liability. Issue directives concerning the movement of property, ensuring proper care is taken to prevent damage. Receive request for and recommend transfers of property. Verify the information listed on the Asset Removal form and facilitate the pick-up and disposition of equipment. Prepare Transfer of Location of Equipment forms and Property Survey Reports. Investigate invoice discrepancies as requested by the Regional Accounting Office (RAO) staff.
