What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Perform admission, continued stay, and discharge reviews for managed care clients
• Maintain organized reporting systems for counselors regarding PCPC requirements
• Monitor insurance eligibility and funding accuracy
• Collaborate with the Billing Department to manage client funding and reduce uncovered days
• Conduct chart reviews to ensure compliance and proper documentation
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Associate's Degree is required
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations in healthcare
• Familiarity with medical terminology, appeal processes, and data entry (primarily Excel)
• Understanding of the pre-certification process and PCPC
• Experience in a healthcare-related role is preferred
