Our client, one of Oregon's leaders in the engineering, manufacturing, and materials management industry has openings for Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers. The Electrical Assembler will use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble electrical and mechanical components.
As An Electrical Assembler, You'll Receive
- $20 - $24 hourly wage to start - based on your direct assembly experience
- Overtime opportunities = 1.5x pay
- Sick pay
- Comprehensive individualized training programs focused on personal and professional growth.
- This position will be a temporary role, it may have the potential opportunity to stay on longer depending on performance and needs.
- Work as part of a team to fabricate and assemble electrical and mechanical components of a system.
- Use multi-meters, hand, and power tools.
- Use Microsoft 365, Bluestar system dynamics, 3D modeling software basics to open, print, and review engineering documents and models.
- Use schematics and blueprints to fabricate and assemble components of a system.
- Install cables and wires in systems following safety and quality standards
- Crimping, device service loops, ring and fork installations
- 1 year of assembly experience is preferred.
- Previous experience reading electrical assembly schematics.
- Previous experience assembling and/or fabricating electrical parts using shielded and non-shielded wire.
- Previous experience adhering to Safety and Quality demands while working in a production facility Ability to deal with changing priorities on a daily basis.
- Ability to work closely with a team of other assemblers.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, repetitive motion, use arms and hands in a steady form for long periods of time.
- Lifting a minimum of 15 - 30 lbs. required + ability to stand for long periods of time
