Jaeger Corporation is seeking a clinical therapeutic radiation oncology physicist to join our consulting medical physics practice. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a masters degree, and is board certified or board eligible.
Experience with some or all of the following equipment is desirable: Varian accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning system, as well as Aria record and verify system. Physics QA equipment used is primary Sun Nuclear QA equipment including the SunScan3D cylindrical scanning system. Experience with Radformation products is a plus.
The successful candidate is expected to work as an integral part of the hospital radiation oncology team as well as communicating with the physics group as a whole. Responsibilities include treatment planning review, chart review, and TG-142 QA. In addition, continuous quality improvement, implementation of protocols, and commissioning of new equipment is expected with the support of the group. Potential to be an active part of a new residency program exists. Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills are essential. Some travel to client sites may be required.
