Communications Marketing Intern

Description

We are looking for a creative and results-oriented Communications Intern to join our team. The Communications intern will provide impact-focused strategic communications work, including writing, project management, public relations support and other support for various communications tools and channels, both internal and external. You will contribute to enhancing overall processes, tracking, and systems for the team, leveraging technology tools like SharePoint. You will also provide research and tactical support for a variety of corporate communications projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and scheduling content for social media platforms, supporting corporate brand engagement and growth.
• Design visually appealing social media and other marketing materials using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, ensuring brand consistency.
• Work closely with the communications team to ensure on-time delivery of projects such as newsletters, event deliverables, blog posts, etc.
• Demonstrate excellent writing skills in both short and long form.
• Keep multiple social media accounts and intranet up to date
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
• Prior internship or experience in a corporate environment
• Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
