Job Description Summary:
We’re seeking a Finance Analyst to join the SMB Finance team at PayPal. In this role, you will support financial planning processes, track performance and partner closely with the SMB Commercial and Channel Partner Sales team. This is a varied role in scope, entailing tracking and understanding business drivers, financial performance as well as closely working with the SMB leadership and Finance teams.

Job Description:
In this role, you can expect to:

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual forecast models of SMB across Branded Checkout.
• Performs SMB payments consolidation, covering Branded Checkout and PayPal Processing.
• Providing real time insight into business performance and financial results of topline, perform variance and sensitivity analyses on (daily/weekly/monthly) revenue/margin performance for Channel Partners, verticals and products.
• Identifying key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders up-and-down the organization to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to strategically advise on financial impact and improve business performance.
• Use business intelligence dashboards and reporting to advise and inform the Finance team and executive leadership on business unit and product performance.
  
  
  

To thrive in this role, you have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance/FP&A roles or related fields/functions and comfortable with topline financial management; prior experience at high-growth technology or financial technology startups a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Advanced Proficiency with MS Office specifically with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience & demonstrated interest in building and challenging financial models.
• Experience or willingness to learn large database manipulation through standard access tools, such as SQL and reporting tools (Essbase).
• Detail-oriented, highly analytical individual who strives for excellence and wants to be part of a great team.
• Demonstrated experience in reporting and budget processes in matrixed environments.
• High energy and a true desire to understand the drivers of the business.
• Excellent English proficiency.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $43400 to $111980
