Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose:

The SI Engineering IT, Manager - Scrum Master will be responsible for defining, planning and leading the delivery of various Enterprise Level SI Engineering initiatives supporting the existing SI Engineering ART. This role will work with one or more dynamic teams with the goal of leading, reporting and driving innovative Engineering solutions to production. Additionally, the individual will assist in supporting additional ART goals and identifying / implementing improvements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Scrum Master / Kanban Leader / Team Coach for development teams
  • Experience managing multiple agile teams or initiatives in parallel
  • Work with technology and business teams to shape business requirements and provide ongoing communication through project execution
  • Manage Agile teams’ dependencies, risks, capacities and value delivery using Jira, Jira Align and other approved tools to provide order, process, delivery and priorities accurately and on time
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create a holistic roadmaps and planning for product delivery
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to develop reports and clearly articulate challenges, progress and opportunities to multiple stakeholders (key stakeholders, executives)
  • Ensures development stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities.
  • Develop documented plans to realize the requirements, while leading, managing, tracking, and communicating the execution of the plans and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Utilize and create reports as needed to deliver updates and foster team collaboration through frequent open communication and teamwork
  • Cross-functional collaboration to build and promote teamwork and propel value delivery
  • Manage diverse IT teams consisting of application architects, application engineers, designers, and outsourced vendors.
  • Lead projects in Scaled Agile methodologies. Independently drive continued adoption and improvement to Agile delivery and function to the teams and the ART.
  • Conduct Agile Ceremonies: Daily Stand Ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Demos/Reviews, Retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Keep Agile teams focused on concrete priorities while keeping outside influences from disrupting the team and actively identify and remove waste and distractions
  • Work with Product Owners and QE team to ensure that testing and feedback is completed in a timely manner and meeting the Sprint timelines
  • Evangelize for autonomous, self-organizing, empowered, and continuously improving teams.
  • Lead in production support prioritization with key stakeholders and identify and pursue improvements.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of IT experience or equivalent leadership program experience or in lieu of degree High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of IT experience, experience in developing and implementing information systems and project management experience
  • SAFe SM certification or enrollment to obtain SAFe SM Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in developing and implementing information systems
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in agile delivery and strong understanding Scaled Agile practices with scrum master / kanban leader / team coach experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience managing offshore resources, organizing and motivating diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Previous Product Management and scrum master/Kanban management experience
  • Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Work with diverse team of Engineers, DevOps engineers, Network team , Application & Vendor teams etc.
  • Experience managing projects in large banking and financial services companies
  • Strong business acumen and superior decision-making skills
  • Strong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organization
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and energy with a strong customer "can do" attitude and result oriented.
  • Hands on, self-motivated professional style with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Passion and motivation to drive positive results independently and across teams
  • Ability to understand engineering and technical requirements of projects and effectively manage resources, vendors and test efforts
  • Desire to work in an open, collaborative and fast-paced environment

Grade/Level: 08

The salary range for this position is 56,000.00 - 104,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
