Applicants must submit the following to apply: * Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's Class B License with air brake, passengers, and school bus endorsement. • Possession of a valid California School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol. • Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (Form MCSA-5876). • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency. * Two (2) Letter's of Recommendation. All letters MUST be SIGNED and DATED within the last two years (typed signatures will not be accepted); * A Resume. * [DMV Printout: A current "K-4" DMV Printout, dated within the last 30 days, if offered an interview. Note: No acceptance of an on-line printout] • Insurability by the District's liability insurance carrier.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: One year of paid experience in the transportation of school children, or the completion of a school bus driver training program. EDUCATION: Verification of a High School diploma, a GED certificate, or a higher degree. Recent job-related experience within the last five years is required.

These organizations are private enterprises who charge a fee for their services. Individuals pursuing a foreign transcript evaluation must follow the procedures outlined by the organization providing the evaluation. In all instances, original, official documentation will be required when requesting the evaluation. Note: To obtain examination credits, veterans must electronically attach a copy of a DD214 (proof of service and/or disability) verification to the application.
