Role Overview

As the Water Product Integration Manager, you will be pivotal in aligning customer relations with our research and development initiatives. Your primary focus will involve identifying customer requirements, propelling product innovation, and ensuring the effective integration of our offerings within the water treatment sector and related fields. This position will entail collaboration across various teams and may include travel to customer sites and our headquarters in Bellingham, WA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with commercial and R&D teams to advance product development through a comprehensive understanding of customer needs.
  • Lead and execute projects centered on product enhancement, innovation, and implementation.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust customer relationships, capturing their insights to direct R&D activities.
  • Work closely with laboratory, production, and manufacturing teams to refine processes and optimize production outputs.
  • Conduct visits to customer facilities to evaluate infrastructure requirements, assess scalability, and facilitate product commercialization.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse teams, including laboratory, production, and marketing professionals.
  • Familiarity with various water treatment industries, including food and beverage, electric power, mining, municipal water systems, or industrial wastewater.
  • Capability to manage projects and drive forward product innovation.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to evaluate infrastructure needs during customer visits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment, or at least 7 years in business development within the water treatment industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing diverse teams is preferred.
  • A Master's degree in a scientific or related field is advantageous.

Working Conditions
