Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain intuitive web services and applications that enhance access to earth observation data for our clients.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to process and enhance satellite data into valuable scientific products.
  • Work alongside product management to guarantee our solutions adapt to the changing needs of our clientele.
  • Construct scalable systems aimed at long-term sustainability and growth.
  • Ensure our software adheres to security best practices to safeguard customer information.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in serverless web applications, particularly with Node.js.
  • Experience with contemporary front-end frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., ElasticSearch, Amazon OpenSearch).
  • Expertise in developing and utilizing RESTful APIs.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and scalable system architecture.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on full stack development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
