Job Purpose
The Sales Optimization Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving sales, occupancy, and revenue for True Connection Communities (TCC). This individual will partner with Executive Director(s) (EDs), Director of Sales (DOS), Regional Director of Sales and Marketing (RDOS), and Regional Director of Operation (RDO) to review digital leads to determine viability for an assigned community or group of communities and distribute the lead back to the DOS after a tour has been scheduled, or at the end of three days. This role will require being a speed-to-lead champion and focus on building strong relationships with the DOS and Sales Counselor.

This job operates in a remote home office or professional office environment. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This job also involves visiting Senior Living Communities, in which case the role will have possible exposure to communicable diseases and infection.
While this position is remote, it will require periodic travel to communities and participation in community sales events.

- Provides remote sales assistance to assigned communities for all digital leads.
- Responsible for discovery to determine qualified leads, schedule tours and turn prospect over to DOS or ED for an onsite to tour and close. This includes joint accountability with the community for hitting/exceeding benchmark conversion goals of 25% Inquiry to Tour.
- Participates in weekly sales power hour for communities assigned; making required number of calls to sales prospects.
- Regularly meets goals, including but not limited to: scheduling tours, phone calls, sales mail and events.
- Conducts daily and weekly review of closing strategies for prospects in the pipeline.
- Ensures customer relationship management system (CRM) is being utilized for all internal and external sales activities.
- Provides Sales Team with new resident and contact information to assist in the tour and recommending personal connection take-a-ways.
- Works collaboratively with Leadership and other department heads to create a positive hospitality-oriented atmosphere for all associates and team members.
- Gives exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, from providing a pleasant greeting to maintaining professionalism and composure in more challenging situations.
- Effectively communicates with residents, families, professionals, visitors, and associates.
- Recognizes and fosters a sales-oriented culture by participating in and contributing toward the sales and marketing efforts.
- Completes all departmental-related reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Works collaboratively with department heads to emphasize the team’s role in sales.
- Attends and actively contributes and participates in company-hosted webinars, on-site meetings, and leadership meetings.
- Champions speed to lead with the communities to achieve a goal of less than 15 mins response time to prospect inquiries, including evenings and weekends, included as part of the rotation for lead pick up for supported communities.
- Assists in the training of new area sales counselors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Three years sales/marketing experience with a proven track record.
- Excellent communication, customer service and public relations skills.
- Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging and team-oriented personality.
- Desire to serve older adults.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Creative approach to achieving goals.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing-related and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance.
