We are confident that we share the same goals with you to honor and respect our clients by delivering care and services that meet and exceed their expectations. This employment agreement describes your responsibilities and what is expected of you as Caregiver while working for Serengeti Care.

Scope of Work: The scope of services we provide to clients include activities of daily living, transportation, exercises, collecting vital signs, assisting with medications, comfort and life enrichment activities. In doing this work, you will be expected to interact kindly, warmly, respectfully and with integrity to SERENGETI CARE 's clients, their family members, and friends and to all other care providers in all care settings.

Essential Job Duties

• Provide assistance with personal hygiene care such as oral care, baths, showers, urinals, shaving, urinals, commodes, incontinence care and personal grooming.
• Assist with all Activities of Daily Living by serving meals, feeding, ambulation, turning and repositioning, hydration, transfers and bed making
• Therapeutic presence by proving comfort, respect, privacy, empathy, listening, encouraging patients, timely answering of call lights and requests for residents or patients.
• Life Enrichment/ Activities: initiative and assist with life enrichment activities per resident or patient preferences and according to the plan of care.
• Documentation: Complete documentation of care as required on provided documentation tools Copy distribution: Employee, Employee File
• Enhances Serengeti Care' image and reputation by accepting ownership new and different patient requests by exploring creative ways to address such requests
• Provides care and conducts self in a professional manner according to Serengeti Care policies and procedures and in line with Serengeti Care, clients, and other relevant stakeholders
• Confidentiality: serves and protects all client information with confidentiality
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• You agree to maintain keeping your care giving skills and knowledge current at all times
• You agree to keep your CPR, 1st Aid, NAC License, food handler's card current
• You agree to present on hire or within 120 days Dementia mental health and nurse delegation specialty trainings
• You agree to having your back ground check conducted upon hire and every 2 years thereafter.
• You agree to complete your 12 annual continuing education units prior to your birthday.
  
  

Physical Abilities

• Able le to lift 50lbs.
• Able to assist with transfers alone for residents on non-weight bearing
• Able to stay standing and walk, use stairs for up to 16 hours a day
