Key Responsibilities
- Develop Personalized Learning Plans to address the individual needs of each student.
- Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with specific student goals.
- Provide engaging virtual instruction, leading remote sessions designed to foster academic and personal growth in a supportive online environment.
- Collaborate with fellow education professionals, including general education teachers and support staff, through virtual communication tools.
- Maintain accurate digital records of student progress and compliance documentation.
- Adapt teaching strategies and curricula to enhance student success in a virtual setting.
- Possession of a current New Mexico Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher, with a preference for those experienced in remote or hybrid learning contexts.
- Proficiency in utilizing virtual learning platforms and digital educational tools.
- Demonstrated creativity and adaptability in addressing diverse learning needs.
- Current and valid New Mexico Teaching License with Special Education endorsement is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, ideally in a remote or hybrid instructional environment.
