Position Title: Patient Service Representative

$500 Sign-On Bonus

Summary

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Patient Service Representative is responsible for managing front office processes within the physician practice. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience while effectively handling administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Financial Management: Collect co-pays and post charges accurately, maintaining up-to-date patient balance processing.
• Information Distribution: Provide patients with essential information regarding office policies, procedures, and practice details.
• Patient Portal Support: Explain the benefits of the patient portal and assist patients in enrolling and navigating the system.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain organized records and assist with other front office functions to support the smooth operation of the practice.
  
  

Education Requirements

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Completion of a medical office assistant program.
  
  

Experience

• Required: A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office setting, demonstrating strong customer service and administrative skills.
  
  

Certifications

• Preferred: Certification in healthcare management or administration.
