Job Description
A Project Manager I is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the Manufacturing Engineering department. They oversee all aspects of a project for scope, budget and schedule, and monitors and summarizes progress of a project on weekly basis. They build and maintain working relationships with Team Members and other departments involved in the projects and utilize industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities

They oversee all aspects of a project for scope, budget and schedule, and monitors and summarizes progress of a project on weekly basis. They build and maintain working relationships with Team Members and other departments involved in the projects and utilize industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee development and engineering projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Prepare budgets and track costs
- Monitor progress and keep stakeholders informed on a weekly basis
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate techniques
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Work independently with Plant Management teams
- Provide project status reporting to upper management
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a Programming related field OR equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years of experience in Project Management, Engineering, and/or Automation/Programming
- Project Management training or certification is desired
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable speaking with all levels of management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as cooperate with others in team efforts
- Must work within designated normal office hours assigned or required by work
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Candidates must be able to work onsite at the Midwest Manufacturing General Office in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (remote work is not offered)
