Job Overview
We are in search of a seasoned and proactive leader to spearhead sales growth across various channels, verticals, and customer segments throughout the United States and Canada. This position presents an exhilarating opportunity for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who can effectively identify and cultivate new business opportunities from inception.
As the Head of Strategic Sales, your primary focus will be on penetrating new verticals such as office coffee, hospitality, foodservice, grocery, and restaurants. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our affiliate program by pinpointing and onboarding new partners to fortify our sales pipeline.
In collaboration with the VP of Sales and Marketing, you will refine sales strategies, processes, and best practices aimed at closing deals and achieving success in these emerging verticals. Documenting successful methodologies and creating a roadmap for others will be among your key contributions.

Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the VP of Sales and Marketing to formulate a strategic annual plan.
- Enhance sales processes, optimizing both inbound and outbound methodologies, and create standardized sales scripts, email templates, demo agendas, etc.
- Design a sales playbook specifically tailored for new verticals.
- Oversee new vertical leads and accounts, expanding our contact database through research and targeted outreach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, success, and impact) to improve the customer experience and boost sales performance.
- Conduct thorough research on vertical-specific business needs to inform our positioning and prioritize our efforts.
- Partner with marketing on new vertical strategies, content, and collateral.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, identifying instances of target underperformance and executing prompt corrective actions.
- Develop a transparent, customer-centric sales process that consistently delivers value.
- Provide support for core vertical sales initiatives as guided by the VP of Sales and Marketing.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity responsible for revenue generation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- A proven track record in launching new products and driving sales expansion into new verticals.
- Proficient in developing scalable and repeatable sales processes.
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities.
- A data-driven approach, with expertise in sales metrics and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).
- Highly motivated, exuding enthusiasm and urgency.
- Experience in developing and leveraging an advanced sales tech stack and modern tools.
