JOB TYPE – Regular, Full-time, Hourly Team Leader; In Location, Onsite; Retail, People and Business Management, Home Furnishing; Key Holder, Team Coordinator; Retail, Customer Services, Customer Operations: Cash Lane, Front Line, Returns, Children Play Area

HOURS – From 38 to 40 hours per week (HL4)

SHIFTS – Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Operations generally range between the window of 8am to 10pm; Minimum one weekend off per month; Work schedules are published one month in advance

PAY – The starting rates/salary for this position range from $22.32 to $25.67 and will be based on equivalent work experience

POSTING – The anticipated closing date is on or around 12/02/24

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Customer Coordinator, supporting the in-store customer experience team, you will:



Oversee day-to-day operations that are assigned by the Team Leader, including opening and/or closing duties for the unit which also include key and alarm code responsibilities.

Troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, access, etc.

Enhance the shopping journey of our visitors to IKEA by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge.

Ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey.

Record information in the relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience.

Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability by understanding IKEA’s product range and services. When needed, offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers.

Forge a team mindset centered around first time right for every customer, ensuring a positive customer journey.

Take part in additional department responsibilities to secure the daily operation for co-workers and customers.

Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
3 years of related experience.

1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment.

Requirements

Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (1-25lbs)
