Summary/Objective

The eCommerce and Web Support Specialist reports to the Sr. Director of Digital Marketing and plays a critical role in managing and enhancing our custom eCommerce platform. This role provides exceptional support to franchisees and internal teams, manages eCommerce storefronts and websites, and generates actionable insights. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this position leverages best-in-class UI/UX principles and utilizes Content Management Systems (CMS) and ticketing systems to address incoming requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

eCommerce Platform Management & Franchisee Support

  • Ensure seamless operation and optimal user experience on our eCommerce platform, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating with development partners for swift resolution.
  • Act as the main point of contact for franchisee support, helping them navigate platform functionality and providing expert recommendations to optimize their storefronts.
  • Assist franchisees with eCommerce storefront configuration, product setup, POS system integration, and test order placements.
  • Maintain data integrity and security within the eCommerce platform, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining clear documentation and standard operating procedures to enhance platform usability and scalability.
  • Use ticketing systems to review, assign, and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely response and resolution for support requests.


Website Performance and Maintenance

  • Proactively monitor, support, and implement improvements to website functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new website features, utilizing CMS tools to build and edit webpages as needed.
  • Create mockups and manage the testing and implementation of new website features, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Resolve technical issues related to both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with vendors when needed.
  • Take on other assigned projects that support the overall digital marketing and eCommerce strategy.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


Competencies

  • eCommerce Platform Experience is a plus
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of HTML and CMS tools; ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with staff at all levels and provide franchisees with a positive support experience.
  • Problem-solving and Initiative: Proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to identify improvements and implement change effectively.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • Occasionally needs to move inside the office to access office machinery and other offices
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. copy machine, computer printer, telephone)
  • Communicate with franchisees, co-workers, and management about work issues and must be able to exchange accurate information verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to observe website data to detect any web-related issues.


Travel

This position requires very little travel. May be required to attend our Annual Convention and/or Sales Summit which is typically held out of state, however, is occasionally held in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • A minimum of an Associate’s degree in web related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Prefer candidate has previous CMS experience.
