We are seeking an entry-level procurement professional to support our procurement activities. This role involves managing processes related to requests for proposals (RFPs), preparing for negotiations, conducting cost analyses, and supporting special projects related to procurement metrics. You will collaborate with buyers on purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services.

This role involves managing processes related to requests for proposals (RFPs), preparing for negotiations, conducting cost analyses, and supporting special projects related to procurement metrics. You will collaborate with buyers on purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement procurement processes and standards, including managing FPs, negotiations, and cost accountability.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist buyers with purchasing activities for goods, materials, supplies, and services.
- Prepare purchase orders and payment approvals to facilitate the procurement process. Gather price proposals, financial reports, and other relevant data for analysis. Communicate with suppliers to obtain updates in coordination with buyers.
- Support the preparation of RFPs and bid packages.
- Maintain records of purchases, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories. Analyze data to meet account needs.
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve issues such as shortages or late deliveries.
- Verify compliance for purchase orders over $10K.
- Assist with vendor additions, extensions, and changes.
- Conduct GRIR reconciliation and follow up with vendors for missing invoices or credits.
- Review early shipments and coordinate returns as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree with less than two years of relevant experience, or
- Six years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
