Join the Arc of Onondaga team as we collaborate with Bryant and Stratton College to assist you in becoming a successful and impactful Direct Support Professional (DSP)!

Our training partnership with Bryant & Stratton College provides the opportunity to experience hands on and interactive training where you will have the ability to develop the skills needed in order to become a successful Direct Support Professional! All while discovering a new, rewarding career at Arc of Onondaga!
As a DSP, you'll work directly with people who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Within this role, support and encouragement are essential. Responsibilities are included, but not limited to: providing verbal and/or positive encouragement, mentoring those in which you support and assisting individuals with recognizing their fullest potential. You will work collectively, as a team, to assist individuals with meeting their goals as well as maintain involvement, integration and engagement within their community.

Within this training, attendees have the opportunity to learn and explore several programs that are offered through Arc of Onondaga. Upon completion of the training, Graduates have the opportunity to select a DSP position that best fits their needs and availability
Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid NYS driver's license
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
Seeking applicants new to Direct Support
Full Time and Part Time DSP positions (day, evening and overnight shifts) available within Onondaga County.
