Join our esteemed precision oncology organization as a remote Account Executive specializing in Screening, based in Santa Barbara. In this pivotal role, you will partner with sales leadership to design and execute our go-to-market strategy for innovative cancer screening technologies, with a primary focus on promoting our colorectal cancer (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage healthcare providers to optimize the utilization of our SHIELD test for colorectal cancer and other cancers.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets while managing promotional budgets and adhering to our national sales strategy.
  • Cultivate strategic business relationships with primary care providers and their practices to drive mutual progress.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans that align with product goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with laboratories to establish phlebotomy agreements and provide training on specimen collection workflows.
  • Conduct market analysis to monitor competitive trends and share insights with leadership.
  • Formulate strategic plans for acquiring and retaining both new and existing clients.
  • Execute promotional activities that align with our sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to achieve company objectives.
  • Represent and uphold the company's values and culture in all professional interactions.
  • Travel regularly within your designated territory and participate in regional or national meetings.
  • Adhere to our Quality Management System policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years in a client-facing sales role within the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals) with a proven success record.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in consultative selling techniques, adept at addressing client objections and aligning their needs with our offerings.
  • Comprehensive market knowledge, including familiarity with customers, distribution channels, and product lines.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Capacity to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge and leverage relationships across various departments to fulfill work objectives.
  • Self-motivated with effective project management and prioritization skills.
  • Robust administrative capabilities suitable for navigating complex environments; experienced in both in-person and virtual sales interactions.
  • Technologically proficient, especially in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce and Veeva).
  • Positive demeanor and integrity, understanding organizational growth dynamics.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the sales and marketing of diagnostic products (blood-based testing or phlebotomy) preferred.
  • Experience in planning and executing product launches.
  • Familiarity with the primary care landscape within your assigned territory.
  • High-touch customer service skills are a plus.

Compensation And Benefits

  • The base salary range for this full-time position is \(110,000 to \)133,000, exclusive of benefits, bonuses, commissions, or equity.
  • Compensation is contingent on location and factors such as skills, experience, and education.
