Your Role on the Team
Position Summary
The Manager is responsible for broad support for the Supply Chain Management teams within UCI Health through many essential functions, including but not limited to distribution operations and needs across the organization, customer service, problem resolution/issue escalation, inventory control and management protocols, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency for all users. This role facilitates the seamless flow of goods, materials, and supplies through the medical center. The incumbent is responsible for implementation, support, and maintenance of applications used by Supply Chain and Finance in collaboration with other peers. Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to design and deliver creative, cost-effective, and integrated supply chain solutions. Responsible for managing service delivery and operations of various supply chain systems for various applications including but not limited to ERP/MMIS, EDI/GHX, Recall platform, CIMS etc. Responsible for providing deep knowledge of ERP/MMIS capabilities as well as Supply Chain domain expertise to create better alignment with UCI Health needs. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for data collection and metrics regarding training effectiveness and defining system protocols and procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Skill to effectively supervise staff
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must have strong supply chain functional expertise from procure to pay, item master and vendor master management, EDI setup and management, troubleshooting issues with EDI transactions, AP Invoice matching and 3 way matching. Receiving and Chain of Custody, Item master management using 2 Bin Kanban and RFID tracking, Mobile Supply Chain Management
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Minimum five years previous job-related/equivalent experience
- GHX certification or equivalent systems experience
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning, to include Materials management / Inventory management, Logistics and Distribution, and Mobile Supply Chain
- Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude. Highly self-motivated, directed and change oriented. Very strong customer service orientation. Ability to analyze highly complex issues and workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
