About The Role
The RealReal is looking for a hands-on Senior SEM Marketing Manager to scale our online programs on search/shopping, paid social, display and online video. Reporting to the VP of Acquisition Marketing, you will be focused unlocking potential on proven and new platforms to maximize new customers and revenue. This role is a key position on the Acquisition Marketing team in driving results for our growing company. You will work closely with numerous stakeholder teams including product, merchandising, creative, analytics and others on the acquisition team.

We have hundreds of in-house gemologists, horologists and brand authenticators who inspect thousands of items each day. As a sustainable company, we give new life to pieces by thousands of brands across numerous categories—including women's and men's fashion, fine jewelry and watches, art and home—in support of the circular economy. We make selling effortless with free virtual appointments, in-home pickup, drop-off and direct shipping. We do all of the work for consignors, including authenticating, using AI and machine learning to determine optimal pricing, photographing and listing their items, as well as handling shipping and customer service. At our 13 retail locations, including our twelve shoppable stores, customers can sell, meet with our experts and receive free valuations.

- Lead planning, management, and execution of all SEM/PPC/Shopping, paid social and display campaigns on Alphabet platforms including account setup, development and implementation of spend strategies, campaign structure, budget management, daily bidding, and invoice management
- Build and execute a robust SEM & Shopping strategy including 6 to 18 month strategy on planned initiatives and expected business impact
- Continuously manage spend to goals on deployment and ROI with limited variance on our programs on search/shopping, google display and Youtube video leveraging the latest and best features in-platform
- Actively manage relationships with platform teams and internal product and technology teams to ensure our account set-up is optimized and data passback are accurate and have high up-time in a timely manner
- Proactively update customer acquisition strategy on search, shopping and Google platforms to meet evolving business goals on customer segments and product mix targets
- Collaborate with SEO team to cross-share insights and improve performance of both SEO and SEM
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in growth/performance marketing, etc.
- 2-3 years experience mentoring team members
- Hands on management on Google Ads and social/video platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in analyzing raw data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations
- Strong attention to detail with experience in proper campaign set-up and QA, execution, and budget management
- Highly collaborative with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with advanced measurement methodology including attribution and incremental lift testing
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Google Adwords certified
- Marketplace experience (buyers and sellers) preferred
