Position Summary
In this role, you will be embedded into our Electrical Engineering teams, applying what you’ve learned in school to exciting technology in the industrial automation industry. You will be placed in our Sensors group, located at our corporate headquarters in Plymouth, MN. This internship is fully in-person.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be assigned to a team that best suits your skillset and interests. You may be involved in any of these tasks:
- Collaborating with designers to decipher product schematics
- Qualifying test units
- Creating BTF results reports
- Debugging C++ test code
- Improving product testing
- Debugging analog circuits
- Assisting with analog circuit design
- Analyze electrical circuits schematics
- Assist in the verification of new PCBAs
- Working with optical engineers on laser fault analyses
- Other duties as assigned

Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with standard EE tools (oscilloscope, DMM, voltage meters, etc.)
- An understanding of basic EE concepts – voltage regulators, inductors, laser diodes, capacitors, resistors
- Comfortable with analog and digital circuitry and design
- Understanding of physics behind analog design, electromagnetic field propagation, regulators, etc.
- Familiarity with interferometer
- Comfortable with C++ programming
- Physical Demands
- Sit for up to 8 hours per day
- Exposed to a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day
- Utilize a computer mouse, keyboard, computer, and other standard office equipment
- Required to talk or hear frequently
