Overview

Job Title: Site Manager Department: Project Management

Reports to: Director of Project Management Location: Remote

Summary:

S&H Systems is a single-source, full-service systems integration company – delivering dependable material handling systems, software, and post-sale support since 2002. The project management team is responsible for managing S&H client projects ensuring the installation of all systems are safely completed within budget and delivery deadlines.

Responsibilities

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • No direct supervisory duties. Must be able to work in fast paced team environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage operations to consistently meeting S&H quality standards.
  • Meet customer and S&H timeline expectations.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the customer and their representatives.
  • Understand and have experience in maintain a safe work site in accordance with OSHA, S&H, and our customer’s safety standards and requirements.
  • Manage site resources including an accurate set of red-lined drawings.
  • Communicate with the customer and S&H project managers as well as S&H internal and installation teams.
  • Assist with the construction permitting process including scheduling, inspections, delivering permit packages to the appropriate locations.
  • Obtain permits once materials are ready for pick-up, and coordinate with inspectors, etc.
  • Work closely with the project manager providing site reports.
  • Ensure that incoming loads are carefully inventoried, any errors properly communicated,
  • Send all bills of lading/packing lists to the accounting department in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in managing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and projects.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team environment.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities due to demands and timeline changes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interface and negotiate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and in a timely manner.
  • Able to identify work scope changes.
  • Risk management and safety oriented.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or significant field experience working with multiple trades.
  • A minimum 5 years Site Management experience managing installation projects and teams.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical experience with MHE a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel Requirement:

  • Anticipated full time travel requirement.
