This is a part time /full time role for an individual with electrical wiring/ solar installation training and a natural ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced Start-up environment.
Proteus has developed an extremely efficient system for panelized construction, which is applicable to accessory units, single, and multifamily residential projects. We build highly improved wall panels in a controlled manufacturing environment in parallel with preparing the foundation on the site. Once the foundation is ready, we transport floor, wall, ceiling, and roof panels to the site. A crane meets us at the site, and lifts the panels into place where they are quickly anchored. A complete structure, with rough electrical, insulation, and windows, is constructed in less than one day for simpler structures to several days for more complex structures.

The Apprentice Electrician role is envisioned as an early-stage employee that will become a key part of our construction team; both in our factory and on our job sites around North County San Diego, and that will take on increasing responsibility as the company matures. The Apprentice Electrician will quickly grow into doing electrical wiring independently.

Compensation will depend on candidate experience and qualifications. $25-$35

Core Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and associated drawings
- Establish and document process improvements
- Interact with engineering staff to ensure accurate electrical wiring
- Interact with purchasing staff to ensure materials are sourced in a timely manner
- Research and create process flow documents and establish process improvements
Compensation will depend on candidate experience and qualifications. $25-$35
