We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager to manage and execute our email marketing, SMS, and offline lifecycle campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, setting up campaigns, and analyzing performance to drive member engagement and business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Member Services) to ensure brand consistency and optimal performance. This is an on-site role at our HQ office in Rhode Island.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager to manage and execute our email marketing, SMS, and offline lifecycle campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies, setting up campaigns, and analyzing performance to drive member engagement and business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Member Services) to ensure brand consistency and optimal performance. This is an on-site role at our HQ office in Rhode Island.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end management of email and SMS campaigns
- Create and segment email lists to target audiences effectively
- Optimize email templates for maximum deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
- Collaborate with email designer to ensure emails are visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines
- Conduct A/B testing on email campaigns to ensure effectiveness
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and deliver reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as open rates, conversion rates, and ROI
- Monitor email marketing trends, tools, and best practices to stay ahead of industry developments
- Build out customer journeys to optimize for KPIs including but not limited to first order, reactivation of dormant accounts, and increasing AOV of current members
- Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and regulations, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM
- Create and manage landing pages for lead capture that feed into and complement email campaigns, ensuring high conversion rates and a seamless user experience
- Develop and deploy surveys to gather customer feedback, analyze results, and share results with internal stakeholders
- Work with Member Services team to execute offline lifecycle campaigns focused on retention and reactivation
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in lifecycle or email marketing
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, Braze)
- Proficiency working in a CDP (e.g., Segment, Optimove)
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and automation
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus
- Experience with A/B testing and email campaign optimization
- Ownership mentality; ability to completely own projects and channels
- Achieve 100% on-time delivery of campaigns, ensuring each stage (planning, content creation, launch) meets the defined timeline
- Improve customer retention 5% within 6 months, 10% within 12 months
- Conduct at least one A/B test per week on messaging, timing, or channel strategy to identify optimization opportunities
- Improve email engagement rates by 10%+ within 6 months
