The Process Improvement Business Analyst will review, analyze, and document the business in terms of its operating models, business functions, systems, and processes in order to positively impact operational effectiveness. The analyst will provide recommendations, define requirements, quantify potential business benefits and take a lead on implementing the required changes in order to make step change improvements in key metrics, including customer satisfaction, people satisfaction and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and model business processes and information flows using appropriate analysis techniques in order to identify opportunities for improvement in order to deliver to an overall customer, people and/or cost target.
  • Propose solutions (including automation); identifying alignment with business requirements; making recommendations to business managers, taking into account costs, benefits, and risks.
  • Document process change requirements using the agreed standards, methods, and tools ensuring consistent high quality output.
  • Deliver changes to business processes in partnership with operational managers.
  • Demonstrate awareness of customer, colleague and cost impact of change and plan accordingly to mitigate impacts, engage stakeholders and champion change.
  • Ensure that all proposed business and process changes are formally mapped to strategic goals and documented risks, which are reviewed and managed.
  • Define, develop, and deliver processes and systems to ensure that service levels are consistently in alignment with customer experience expectations.
  • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels and in all departments of the company in order to ensure their engagement and support of business improvement activities.
  • Complete all other tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications

Education

BS/BA Degree in Business or IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience/Knowledge

Six Sigma/Lean qualifications or equivalent accreditation preferred.

5+ years of experience in process improvement role with delivery track record.

Experience of working to targets to improve customer, people or cost metrics.

Experience of identifying and making improvements in operational customer facing environments.

Experience in Lean, Six Sigma or other structured process improvement methodologies.

Experienced user of business analyst techniques and related tools including process mapping, functional business modelling, statistical process control, activity sampling, value stream mapping etc.

Project management experience.

Skills

Experience in life insurance industry, preferred.

What’s in it for you?

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $104,300 - $130,000 annually. This is a remote opportunity operating on EST.

The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses. This role is eligible to participate in the Legal & General America Annual Incentive Plan. The current target payment for the position is 20% of base salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date. This role has 20 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year .
