Description

We are looking for an experienced Corporate/Real Estate Paralegal to assist our team of attorneys. You will be preparing and reviewing contracts, reviewing real estate documents, assisting with real estate and transactional due diligence and closings, along with other general corporate and real estate work. Qualified candidates will demonstrate a high level of knowledge in corporate/real estate legal matters and have substantial experience as a team member handling real estate and M&A transactions, assisting in the timely completion of projects and closings and the overall success of the company.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work independently and with attorneys to resolve a variety of day-to-day business issues, and supporting a broad range of commercial transactions and projects.
  • Review operational contracts and working with teams at properties outside of the corporate office to assist day-to-day business operations in theatres and hotels.
  • Perform legal due diligence.
  • Prepare documents relating to a variety of real estate, loan and construction matters based on consultation with internal attorneys and stakeholders, including but not limited to agreements, leases, loan documents, and construction contracts.
  • Provide general assistance in real estate, lending, and construction and leasing transactions.
  • Analyze and summarize documents for review by attorneys.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, other paralegals and legal team staff members on a wide range of projects.
  • Multi-task and prioritize work assignments to consistently provide high-quality work product within stated deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

  • Associate’s degree in paralegal studies, or similar.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a paralegal.
  • Superb organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical ability and research skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written). Ability to communicate effectively across broad functional and organizational lines.
  • Excellent computer skills.
