As a People Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience and smooth transition for new hires into the organization. This position involves coordinating various aspects of the recruitment process, managing onboarding procedures, and supporting early employee lifecycle activities to enhance teammate engagement and increase retention.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to organize recruitment materials, post job openings on various platforms, source prospective candidates, and navigate hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules and follow-up communications with candidates.
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Organize and administer onboarding programs that familiarize new employees with the company culture, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with conducting orientation sessions and act as the first point of contact for new employees, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Support the people operations team with achieving employee experience and engagement strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and track new hire progress through the pre-employment onboarding process and during their initial employment period.
- Collect feedback from new employees to improve onboarding and early engagement processes.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment metrics and onboarding progress.
- Prepare reports on recruiting and onboarding activities for management review.
- Travel to and represent RCX Sports at career fairs, networking events, and other in-person recruitment opportunities.
- Assist with seasonal and temporary hiring and staffing efforts including evaluating and optimizing recruitment and staffing practices.
- Provide administrative support for onboarding independent contractors including drafting agreements and organizing supporting documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably in a People Operations or HR environment.
- Strong understanding of recruiting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and employee onboarding best practices.
- Prior experience leveraging applicant tracking systems and software to efficiently manage the recruitment and hiring process.
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret employee data and recommend decisions or adjustments to processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to network and build strong professional relationships with potential candidates.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Additional Position Details:
- Travel: Less than 10% of the time
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 Hours per week) with occasional nights and weekends
- Location: Hybrid - We anticipate this role to involve a combination of remote work from home and on-site work at the RCX Sports office, located in either Roswell, GA, or Sylvan Lake, MI, based on the candidate's preference. - Reports to: HR Manager
- Compensation Structure: This position is a Full-Time salaried position, paid semi-monthly and is eligible to receive discretionary annual bonuses based on RCX Sports and employee performance
